Steve Su

Steve has a Bachelor’s degree in Computing Science from the University of Alberta and is currently pursuing a degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). This background, in addition to his work experience, has developed his skills in data analysis, geospatial technology, and software development. Within the context of analyzing complex issues, Steve’s background provides the technical tools needed for a systems-level perspective that integrates data, mapping, and modelling to uncover patterns, trends, interconnections, and solutions that are grounded in environmental, economic, and social reasoning. His work reflects a strong belief that the future of conservation and sustainable development lies in technologically integrated analysis and solution-driven approaches that combine data and innovation to address complex global challenges. With the utilization of computer science and GIS capabilities, efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity can increase.
